Hi, my name is Sandra and this interest post is for both myself and my friend Chris . We both recently decided that we want to play in a game together and thought we'd see if we can find a game that would accept us both. Below we will have a little description about ourselves, and thanks for considering us! Name : Chris Age : 27 Discord : Cjs_SoCal#1061 Experience : I have been playing D&D for 2 year. My very first game was 3.5, but that game stopped after that and I have only played 5e since. I have run a few campaigns, and am currently running one on Fridays. I also have a One Shot discord server where I run One Shots from time to time, so I am familiar with the game and rules. Playstyle : I tend to lean toward Roleplay over Combat. I usually like a 70/30 split in favor of Roleplay. That being said, I do enjoy the occasional combat, you know slaying the dragon to save the town, etc. I am not one of those Edgelord, socially awkward people, or selfish players. I try and play the game in a way that I enjoy, and that everyone else is having fun as well. It's a group activity after all. Character : I usually make characters with very extensive backstories. I believe it helps me flesh out how the character would act, and even gives the DM a few locations, NPCs, quests, etc for him to work with so that he may bring them into the campaign in the future, if you chooses. As for class/race, I have played a lot of different things and can maybe try and fit to what the party needs, pretty versatile. My name is Sandra and I'm 28 years old, residing in EST time zone North Carolina. I'm a DM but I don't get to play anymore myself although I'd really like to. Since I work a full time job, I can only play on the weekends or some national holidays. What do I look for in a game? FUN Roleplay/impersonating my character Good/interesting story Character development Challenging obstacles (encounters/situations/...) What do I look for in a group? Good "chemistry" Teamwork instead of "everyone for themselves" Ability to differ between player actions and character actions No metagaming Reliability to be on time and show up for games What do I look for in a DM? Transparency and honesty in lead of group Managing issues as objective 3rd party Creative storyteller Affinity to work with characters, their backgrounds and goals Good improvisation skills Not just dishing out all items and endless riches but giving rewards out with care What do I bring for your group? 1 year of D&D experience as a player (+7 years playing another system) Lots of character roleplay and emotions, backstory Hopefully fun! Maybe a potential DM if anyone of the group is interested Does that sound fitting to you? Then please add me on Discord : Sändieh#4797 or just reply to this posting. Have a great day!
