Lt. House introduces the Boomgirl and Ghost-Cat to the
Brooklyn Brigade. He then settles in to write a program to coralates current
events to possible unrelated news articles, a tool conspiracy theorist use.
(Brittney) the invisible fly on the wall is revealed,
Paladin sense the Defenders of the Cross talisman in her possession. She tells
Paladin (and the group in general) that she is fleeing Gratz, a master vampire
and a high priest of the Cult of the Crypt (Crypt a vampire of such power he is
considered a vampire-God) She gives the talisman to Paladin after he tells her
of the danger carrying it puts her in.
The group then resumes their quest against the Kindred Animal-Men.
The group goes to the hospital to talk to Cherry Darling (and discover
(Brittney) can teleport the entire group).
Also Shifter (formerly Shockwave) sets up a sea-monkey tank
in the base.
One of the guarding officers will take a picture of
(Brittney) and give it to Lt. House for PART's records. Ghost-Cat and Paladin
go in to talk to Cherry Darling. From the street signs she remembers seeing as
she fled from the Kindred in their hunting exercises they pin-point a 6 to 10
city blocks area where they feel the Kindred are located.
Cherry thinks the other girls are dead, most likely devoured
by their captors.
Crimson Knight (back when they rescued Cherry) took the
robot’s HD. Paladin gives it to (Brittney) for a complete examination. She is
not able to discern all that she wants from it but does get the location of
where the Kindred warehouse is and that the robots are getting radioed instructions
from Manhattan.
When asked Cherry thinks there are 6 Robots, she is sure
that there were less than 10, in the Kindred warehouse and maybe a hundred of
the animal men of various types. Paladin gives Cherry a card so if she is in
danger she can call the Brigade for help.
Paladin and Shifter go to talk to Marsha (Alex Franklin's
daughter). Paladin tells Marsha that Lt. House knows more about the fate of her
father than he can tell her.
Marsha is unpleasant and addicted to cigarettes. Marsha
tells them the last time she saw her dad he told her that he was getting clean
and got a job as a lab rat for Monroe Bio Industries.
Paladin and Shifter tell her than they will be going to talk
to Elaine (the granddaughter) next.
Elaine is more concerned with what happened to her
grandfather than her mother was. They learn she (Elaine) is a case worker who
tries to take care of the poor and homeless in her area. She tells them that
lots of her clients take jobs from Moreau Bio Industries and her friend Mathew
Rollins works for Moreau’s outreach program for the needy. Paladin tells Elaine
that Moreau might be responsible for deaths some of her clients that have gone
missing. He also gives Elaine a card and asks that she not tell too many people
bout their suspicions concerning Moreau.
(Brittany) and Boomgirl scour the dark-web and discover that
(according to rumors) Moreau Bio Industries has very close ties to UNTIL and
even has limited access to Monster
Island. They also learn
that, since they are close to UNTIL, they are not on great terms with PRIMUS.
The Brooklyn Brigade check to see if their benefactor (CK)
has access to a powerful Radio Telescope to scan for the robot instructions,
and he does.
