Changing Charactersheet in mid-campaign

Hi, i am considering to buy the beastiary for PF. If read, that i will have to use the original Charsheet by R20 in order to work properly. So i checked my game and saw that i am using the Pathfinder (Community)-Sheet for my campaign. Is it easy to change that in the game settings? What happens, if i do this? Are the existing sheets kept in the old style? Does the change only apply to newly created sheets? Or will the 'old' sheets be busted and have to be created from scratch? Thanks in advance Sleygon

Because the set of attributes is different between the Community Sheet and the "by Roll20" sheet. And this is true for most sheets on Roll20.  If you want to switch, perhaps could you create a new game, and at a "pause" in the narrative of the campaign (perhaps between two adventures), recreate only the PC characters in the new game?

Well thanks, have to talk to my PCs then. Much more work would be all the NSCs of course.

You could make a copy of your current game and change the character sheet on it as a test to see how the change affects things.  That may help you decide how you want to go about making your change.

You may want to post a separate question with a subject like, "[PF Community Sheet] Compendium Import?" For some reason, I thought the sheet had been updated to handle compendium drag and drop...I don't play the game, so could be wrong, but if I'm not, you won't even need to change character sheets...

Thanks Finderski, now i have to decide to buy or not to buy. Would be easy if it works right away. Well, maybe someone with the same question already reads this and tell me her solution?

While the community sheet works with most of the drag/drop features/attributes from the PF Compendium, it currently isn't 100% compatible with roll20's official Paizo content...
