Brand New Player wanting a TAZ like game

I have never played dnd before but I understand most of the basics from listening to podcasts like the adventure zone, the infinite bad, and critical role.  I am looking for a small group of people who are willing to help me learn to play.  I am a 17-year-old girl so don't be creepy.  I have a vague campaign that I've been wanting to play, but I want to play as a character before I jump right into being a gm. I am willing to play anything as long as there's roleplay

I been listening to taz like every since last year. Listening to them really makes me want to play I never played befor either. Sooo if you find a group like the one your looking for I would like to join
