Notification box suggestion

Regarding our little pink (or gray when empty) letter sigil and Dismiss all notifications. If I'm gone for a bit, it'll fill up past ten notifications. If I look at those ten and see nothing I'm particularly interested in, I can click "dismiss all notifications" and poof those ten are gone... unfortunately, all other notifications area gone as well. Maybe notification #11, 15, and 22 were ones that would have interested me but those are gone too. So, I think "dismiss all notifications" should be changed to "dismiss these ten notifications". Also related, when I dismiss the ten, a new set of ten should appear automatically, instead it just sits there, nothin', and I have to refresh the page to get a new set of ten notifications to browse through.  Thanks.
