Days 82-86 - Let's get the party started

Besh wakes up, alone in the jungle and starts heading south towards Kir Sabal. When he passes through clearings he can see it in the distance, a massive cliff with buildings hanging onto the side. As he is walking he can hear loud boasting coming from up ahead. He recognises the voice and finds himself heading towards the camp of Artus Cimber and Dragonbait. They have a couple of other explorers with them. Trayzeal the Last, a half elven rogue, and Sudrin Thundereye (also known as the Muckraker), a minotaur warrior. They were recently on a slave ship, but when the slave ship was attacked by pirates they were able to recover their equipment and escape. They have been wandering through the jungle aimlessly until they were found by Artus. Artus is saddened to hear of the loss of Besh's companions, but as they are talking Trayzeal notices movement in the forest. Realising that he has been noticed, GrizzLeeAdYams emerges from the jungle. He is a firbolg druid who has been tracking and watching Besh after finding him alone in the jungle. He is following a vision quest in which he was to help a tortle. He has decided that Besh must be that tortle. Artus explains that he is heding to Mezro once more for his own purposes, and tells his new companions that they must not join him - his mission is not one for them. Now that there are other companions they would be wise to join Besh on his quest. Besh explains about the soulmonger and the rest of the group agree to join him. Artus departs and the new group head upon their way. Changing to First Person...... You continue through the jungle for another day with your new companions, and as the day is fading you find yourself at the foot of Kir Sabal. An ancient monastery overlooks the jungle from its perch on the cliff of a tall plateau. Stone steps and rickety walkways connect the various buildings, the lowest of which is 500 feet above the ground. The main building has a circular mazelike symbol carved into its crumbling facade. Every few minutes, bird folk either land at the monastery or launch themselves from its balconies and take to the sky. As you are considering your next move, a bird man lands in front of you and in broken Chultan asks your purpose. When you explain that you are there to see the queen, he welcomes you and invites you to climb. You decide that as it is getting dark now you are best to wait till morning. The next morning you begin your ascent. Climbing up the broken cliff trail is difficult, but you eventually make it to the monastery. There is a very old Aarakocra there who speaks common well. He is Asharra, known by the aarakocra as 'Teacher', but revered as a living saint. They talk for some time with this old bird, and she eventually invites you to dine. You are taken through to a dining space. As you are eating a door opens and a chultan female and very young chultan male burst through the door. It is Princess Mwaxanare and her 6 year old brother Na. Mwaxanare arrogantly scolds you for not bowing to her immediately. You bow (except for Besh who is unable to due to his shell) and she demands to know why you are there. When she hears that you plan to travel to Omu she is intrigued. She asks you why she should help you. You try to convince her to help but fail so she demands that you fetch her a gift. She desires a black orchard from the hanging gardens of Nangalore, a nearby abandoned pleasure palace. You agree to aquiess to her wishes. She then demands that Trayzeal join her for the night which, for the sake of the group, he does. The next morning you all climb back down the cliff and start heading through the jungle towards Nangalore. You have little trouble over the next couple of days, but 2 days after leaving Kir Sabal you are ambushed by velociraptors. You defeat them, but in the process create a lot of noise. As you are mopping up the fight you hear a loud shouting coming from somewhere in the jungle. Grizz recognises the language as giantish, and it is giants who heard the noise and are coming to investigate. Grizz throws an area of shadows and quiet around you and you all hide. Trees crash and break and three frost giants stomp into view, chilling the air around them. With them they have two winter wolves. "I'M SURE THE NOISE CAME FROM THIS WAY" says one "WHATEVER IT IS, IT WAS HERE" says another, "LOOK AT THESE DEAD LIZARDS". "FLLARGAN", says the third addressing a winter wolf, "SNIFF THEM OUT". The wolf sniffs around the cave area for a while and then begins talking to the giants, "He has been here, masters, I smell faint traces of the dragon man" "THEN TRACK HIM", demands one of the giants. The wolf starts following your trail, but as it gets close to the area of shadow it loses the scent. "The trail goes cold this way, master", says the wolf, "but they may be travelling in the other direction" "THEN WE WILL FOLLOW AND WE WILL RETRIEVE WHAT IS OURS", shouts one of the giants. They start following your scent, back the way you have come from Kir Sabal.
I think they might be looking for the ring that Artus Cimber was wearing.
