Advanced Fog of War + Dynamic Lighting performance issues.

I've read previous forums about having them both work and having performance issues and how to optimize the performance. I purchased the Tomb of Annihilation through Roll20 and I love the maps it comes with NPCs etc. But I think one of the reasons my game runs so slow is because it has all of the maps readily available and having all of the data from the campaign taking up resources other than the current map/page where the players are on. Is there a way to temporarily disable the maps I'm not using? I see the option to archive them but it said that when the game start it still will spin up those maps in the background so I assume that it won't improve the performance. Is that true? I saw I can use the Transmogrifer to send some of the maps to another campaign so I can avoid having them use resources. I have a very good computer and it should be able to handle all that Roll20 can handle I cleared out my cache and disabled apps when I'm running Roll20. Any help to make Advanced Fog of War + Dynamic Lighting run smoother would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you've looked at the information on the wiki page for improving AFoW performance . Beyond that, transmogrifying would certainly help, as would turning off sight on non-essential tokens. I only use it on PCs in my games, for instance. I have a pretty good idea what the monsters should be able to see. You can also try switching Browsers. Although I generally prefer the Chrome browser for everything else, the performance on Firefox Quantum is substantially better for me, for instance. You are correct that you will see little to no improvement from archiving. That is primarily cosmetic and organizational. I do not know if turning off or resetting fog on unused pages will have any performance effect. I know the AFoW Info is stored on a per-character basis, so it's entirely possible.
