Vampire the Masquerade 5th edition?

Really looking to play V5 with a group of people and a story teller willing to create a story for us. Have a character in mind I really want to play. 

Honestly I am looking foe a VtM as well, V5, or V20.

Yeah, I really wish there were more people that would be interested in such a thing. I'm tempted to run a game just to play haha

I tried to get one up and running for months; between the scheduling, no shows, and people holding me accountable for their missteps, I threw in the towel. The saying used to be "Beggars can't be choosers"; now it's "Beggars are entitled".

Lo, that I can understand. I'm going to be running some of my other players on here from a D&D group to get them into vampire. Its going to be a narrative driven game, as it always is, so there will be no beggars here. They known i'm cutthroat.

That's a bit disturbing, but that may also be an asset for one running a VtM game; if you're interested in a V20 game set in Venice WWII, I know a guy. Said guy might also be interested in playing yours. He wanted to join mine, at exactly the time when I was shutting it down; I almost ran it anyway but, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. If you fool me three times, I may have a train to catch, about one second ahead of schedule."

Ok, time to clarify what is to happen going forward. So, i've decided on a game of V5 this upcoming friday, Dec. 21st. I will begin the game at around 8 CST. The setting will be in present day new york city with a few minor tweeks to include a bit of new orleans vibe to a part of town. I have found 3-4 players, but will to accept 1-2 more. If this seems of interest to you and works with your schedule, let me know. 

1. Duration of sessions? 2. Est. duration of campaign? 3. Format? (I.e. voice, text only etc.) 4. Freq?

Oh crap, i forgot to say it would be voice, but I could make an exception for you and just let you type if you prefer it. Sessions will be 4+ hours, depending on how the story is progressing. It'll be once a week. The campaign has not set length per-say, the chronicle itself will be about 8-10 and if they fail to accomplish the overall goal, it'll spin off into another one or vice versa. 

I appreciate that man, but special princesses are a pain in the ass, and I'd lose all respect for myself. "The nail that sticks out, gets hammered." Besides, I think if you driftnet for players enough, you'll be overstock according to your requirements. That's clear enough though; thank you. If you like, I'll funnel people your way via Discord; I tend to step on toes here, so I'd rather just flank and finish that problem whenever feasible There are tons of people on here LFG; I think I sent you the local link for the search.

I just wanted to pop in and say that V20 ww2 venice game sounded really interesting. Anyway, *pops out again*

I might gather an audience at some point that want to watch the vampire game lol

Could I join if at all possible? If not that’s okay I could listen to the story telling 

Possibly, once we get a flow going, I might invite in an audience. I want an audience for a story that's functional.

I am currently in the market for a Monday or Wednesday game in the late evening (10pm CST) with a preference for V5 on the off chance that is acceptable.  Any idea what sort of campaign this would be? (Setting?  Time Period? Anarch/Cam? Theme?)

Its posted earlier in this chat log with most of that info. Only thing it doesn't specify is location and Anarch. It'll be Friday, as the group has agreed upon for now. Currently full. Though I might be looking to do more chronicles to get more people playing V5.

Oh, there's a way to do that? Hmm by all means. I'll just create another in the future for audience members if I ever feel the need.

Mods and Devs can close threads.  I generally close LFG threads when it is very clear that the group is full and the OP is not accumulating a waiting list.  Or when asked, in thread :)
