Hey everyone! 8AM EST on sundays About myself - I am a long time DM who lost my weekly campaign with my co-workers and am looking for some new friends to play games with. I have a unique way of making home brewed worlds which includes a lengthy session zero where we go over character beats as well as every play will get to create the home nation of the hero as well. This unique way in which I start games means I do not have a strong pitch as to what this game will be because I will not know what the world will be until we all get together and create it together. I find this helps with player engagement and helps players get more invested in the campaign as a whole. That being said there are a few home brew rules I always use as well. More advanced resurrection rules making it hard to come back each time. Mounted combat feat is required to not make all attacks at disadvantage while mounted. Flanking must be done at greater than 90 degrees Optional dismemberment rule. and more. The campaign as a whole will see your adventurers move from Level One all the way up until it ends. Keep humble backstories in mind and lets have a good time. I also have the map we will be using to create this world. I will be submitting everyone to interviews before acceptance.
