Weird chat window bug.

So, for a while now, I've had this weird and annoying issue with Roll20. When I am in a game, and typing in the chat window, I cannot move the cursor with the up/down arrow keys. I don't know what caused this, or how to fix it, but it's really irritating.

Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions  and  anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

Quick check: Are you using the actual cursor keys, or those found on the numpad of some keyboards? Just in case this is a NumLock issue.

I am using the actual cursor keys. The problem doesn't seem to occur in Chrome, only Firefox. I have cleared my cache and temp files etc multiple times since this issue started and it persists. I have the same addons on Firefox that I do on Chrome.

Those extensions can function differently on different browsers. A quick way to check is to try seeing if the problem persists if you open the site in a private browsing window. However, if the problem only exists on Firefox, a possible culprit is that you have inadvertently activated caret browsing , a Mozilla accessibility feature. You might be able to toggle it with the f7 key, but follow the link for more info. Otherwise, all that remains is Step 4. Those logs can help pinpoint a problem.

F7 and private browsing make no difference. I'll try step 4 then. Cheers for helping btw.

Thanks you! I noticed another issue yesterday while playing Vampire: The Masquerade. When using Firefox, I could not select an input or output device for audio, but it worked fine when trying it on Chrome.
