TimeZone listed with Next Game session

maybe it's just me... but it seems very counter intuitive that the time listing for "Next Game" does not include the time zone.

i have figured out, after talking to other players, that it -does- appear to localize the time based on your system settings... but i think it would be very helpful both for beginners, and even experienced (but perhaps tired) users, to have the local timezone listed, as well as the original time/zone posted by the gm.

I agree this would be useful. Maybe list the original posted time/timezone then the local time/timezone in parenthesis or brackets.
i was thinking the other way; like local time in big font, and original in smaller, in brackets.
seems like the local time would be more immediately useful to the viewer... but really, either would be good

I have only been using the system for about a week now but the main reason I am playing here is due to my old roommate now living in a different timezone than I do. Our biggest issue, besides map sharing, was making sure we knew the exact time to be in skype, chat, or whatever we were using. This would make it so much easier for different timezone groups to play. Currently I have two other friends who travel for work and they go overseas a lot. This feature would stop any confusion that they have.

Hi, it would also be great if the time was in 24h clock, the AM/PM system is a bit confusing :)
It would definitely be nice if that were an option we could select. However, i think most people find the 24h clock more confusing than the AM/PM system.
Most Americans, maybe. I realize Americans presumably form a major part of the demographics here, but there are a fair few non-Americans, and most of us are plenty familiar with the 24-hour clock. It's not a big deal to me, personally, but it could probably be nice to have the option. Not that it makes a big difference if the game is at 3 AM or 3 PM, but it sure is inconvenient to show up 12 hours early.

Yeah, a 24-hour option would be ideal, would mean I get fewer questions along the lines of "What's that in real hours?" :)

I am an american and I kind of wish we would hurry up and conform to international standards, i.e. 24h clock and metric measurements. Personally I kind of prefer the 24 hour clock. While 3:00 isn't confusing, considering most people are asleep at 03:00 vs 15:00, but times such as 7-12 can be a tad confusing about which time unless the person remembers to mention am or pm.
