Sometime we stop to rule and give the gm to another player ... Or we just play card game where you need everyone to be in GM mode for create deck and add rules. And for that we need and indicator for who is logged in GM mod for avoid cheat or other thing. The indicator need to be on the name of the player or where we can see it easily. Someting like that but that just an idea:
