[LFG] GMT Player looking for Campaign

Hello there! I'm currently looking for a new campaign to settle in with and I'm hoping someone may want to either point me in the direction of a recommended game or pop in with a link to their own group. I've been roleplaying for 14 years+ but I am relatively new to the D&D style of play, currently I'm in one campaign with friends as we all get to grips with the dynamics but this shouldn't at all interfere with the time dedicated to a second game I hope to find. My timezone is GMT and I would be limited to certain times due to real life commitments / work hours etc.  Times Available (GMT) Tuesday - Thursday: 7:30pm - 11:00pm Friday: 8:00pm - 1:00am Saturday: 4:00pm - 1:00am These are rough estimates and if the right game came along that means I needed to bend these time limits I will happily do so if able to! Preferences I truly enjoy playing Clerics, so if you're in need of a healer please do let me know! I'm currently playing a Wizard and I am enjoying this too. I feel I play best in supportive roles and hope to find a group who are looking to fill in that gap. As a player I enjoy both roleplay and combat & try to use inventive, fun forms of problem solving to keep everything moving at a good pace. I feel I'm a very conscientious player, wanting to ensure everyone has a fair share of the spotlight is important to me, and building a good rapport with fellow players is something I'll look for too. I have no preference between Free or Pay to Play games, so please feel free to suggest anything at all you feel may be a good fit. I am looking for a game with good lore & world building, a well paced story with colourful characters is very important to me. Ideally I'd love to find a game that has room for 2 players, myself & my friend who is more experienced with D&D. She is currently DMing but it would be amazing if we could enjoy playing together as 2 characters. If it's at all helpful I can get her to post her info as well, though we'd also both be happy to talk / get to know you all prior to joining any groups. Greetings I'm organizing a series of oneshots for D&D 5e we are short of two players, the time and day of the week has not been set (GTM+1 here) so we can set it according to everybody's interest, if we can manage to find the right time and group I might turn it into a fully fledged campaign. Voice chat is recommended but not necessary. The campaign will be focused more around roleplay at first to be newbie friendly. I am quite new to DMing in D&D although I have played a bit as a player, if this does not bother you and are interested in joining let me know ;) Oh and of course this is all free

Thank you for the info regarding Pay to Play Gen Kitty , using Roll20 is still new to me and it's lovely to have active mods keeping an eye on this kind of thing on our behalf! Potato P - I've messaged you to say thank you and find out further information as this is something I'd potentially be interested in. Shane - That sounds like a lovely idea and hopefully others in a similar situation / with a like minded preference for play will make themselves known :) I've received a few other offers via private messages but I would just like to say that moving forward I'd appreciate people posting here to ensure they follow the requirements as mentioned by Gen above, especially if they have Pay to Play games. This just helps me not get too overwhelmed by messages & keep track of everything in a single thread. I'll be sure to reach out to all that I'm interested in, and at the very least thank you for your offer & time because I truly am grateful to everyone reaching out. 'Eyo! So, I was going to send this information via PM, but given your stated preference, here is fine. To start off, a bit of info about myself. I'm a DM of about eight years now, but much like yourself I got my start in role-playing outside of tabletop gaming(A bit over a decade of that). In the eight years I've ran a few long term campaigns, all in a homebrew setting I have been working on and building. The most recent of these campaigns came to an end recently after about two, two and a half years of going on with the occasional break. From this I'm proceeding onward into a new game set about roughly 300~ years after the end of the last. I currently have 4/5 players, and my maximum allowed is generally 8. The current players I have are all people who took part in the last campaign to some degree, and like you say about yourself are a good mix of RP/combat focused(And so far no one is thinking of going Cleric so that's open as well). Either way, there is definitely room for both you and a friend if so inclined. The game is still a bit out, a month or two, maybe three, given I am working on the world building and lore of the stuff that will have taken place/changed in the three hundred year gap. The world itself, in the last game, was basically in the midst of a war and a shift in political dynamics as well as technological advancements, and the general outlook for this new campaign is things will have gotten relatively... Eberronic. The hitch is in the time. We're looking to be playing on Fridays, which you have open, but the hours could be a problem. A likely starting time for us is around 5PM Central Standard US. So 11PM your time. Our games typically run for three to four hours, so an hour or two past your stated limit of 1AM. You did say you're willing to possibly bend on the time, but I don't know to what degree. But I figured I'd put it out there all the same just in case.

I'm starting a Curse of Strahd campaign immediately after the new year and I think you'd be a good fit. I'm a new-ish DM but have decent experience as a player. You would also need to be aware that, although an official WotC release, its a gothic horror campaign with dark adult themes. We would be playing on Saturdays from 8.30pm until midnight-ish UK time. Hey there! I'm looking to kick off a new campaign the first week of January based off the Zeitgeist adventure path. It's a post-Medieval/pre-steampunk setting, complete with trains, factories, disgruntled laborers, firearms, fairy courts, and Victorian occultism! I have about 15 years of experience DMing, with a heavy emphasis on roleplaying and gaming aids like maps, music, etc. We'll be using official published material/core rules, with a couple of house rules/3rd-party content here or there due to setting-specific quirks. I think you'd make a good fit, and we have room for your friend potentially as well, although of course we'd love to speak with both of you beforehand just to ensure we're all on the same page in terms of what we're looking for from a tabletop experience together.
