Downtime / Recap - The Manor Three Days Prep before the "Trials"

You have made it to the manor, you have met Tiadora and Adrastus Thorn. You had some spare time.  Throughout the time in the manor, "The White Ravens" could be seen inspecting the place, wondering about, very anxious and ready to leave, as you know they have been there for a month.  The servants of course walk about loading your treasure into the house, cooking, cleaning, and general errands.  Tiadora can be seen walking around at times. She is flirtatious as much as she is rude and condescending.  You see her always seductively running her fingers over people's shoulders, caressing them and calling them "My Dearests".  Even to the staff, Elise, your servants and event stroking Grumblejack's beard tauntingly.  Even at times, she may greet you with a gentle kiss on the cheek and stroke your hair. She gives no credence to personal space or your feelings.  Erastius 28 (Fireday - Day 4):   The Forsaken meet Adrastus Thorn and sign the Pact of Thorns. Thus they are inducted into the Knot of Thorns, Adrastus’ conspiracy to destroy Talingarde. Erastius 29-31 (Starday, Sunday, Moonday Days 5-7):  The Knot is given a three day respite to heal, receive equipment and prepare for Thorn’s cruel training. Arodus 1 - (Toliday, Day 8)  -  The Knot is sent into the Nine Lessons.  There they face many dangers designed to prepare them for the challenges ahead.  Sam has been trained by Trak. It costs 80gp and now she is on the path to becoming a great Ranger! But all of you basically had 3 Day days of available time, granted (it was inside) at your own leisure. We'll use the 3 days Thorn gives you for your down time. You spent roughly an hour with the slaves getting organized your wears, shopping lists and such.  You all have been given the following experience:  Lashtongue 600 Manor 600 Joining Knot 600 Meaning 450 Each.  You all have received the number of D3 for experience (See meta info).  Go ahead and roll those in chat.

Bless would also craft more alchemist's kindness on each of the 3 days as well as cast his information gathering spell(I'll have to figure out specifics later). For the first day Bless would attempt to befriend Elise(or at least convince her to have a conversation) if he fails he would try talking to Trik. For the second day Bless would attempt to explore the house(looking for secret doors and familiarizing himself with the layout). For the third day Bless would read the library(I don't know what types of books are in it, so I'd specify after figuring that out). He would also give everyone going into the dungeon with us a bottle with 5 doses of alchemist's kindness(heals 1 HP/dose and also removes hangovers after 10 minutes, I assume it would be used like a potion in most respects)
Every night Carmilla orders the slaves to bring her ink, a quill, and rolls of parchment on which she spends one hour - from midnight to one - scribbling the names Eiseth, Mahathallah, Doloras, Ardad Lili, and Dameimon over and over. At the end, she throws the parchment into the fire saying a prayer to her goddesses. Grumblejack interaction: The Summoner presents the Scale Mail to Grumblejack when Tiadora returns from her shopping spree. "Here, pet, I have a gift for you. As much as I appreciate your physical prowess, we can't have you walking around naked... Too. Easy. To. Kill..." she teases "I hope I got your size right." Elise interactions: For the next days of free time in the manor, Carmilla gives Elise fake smiles whenever they meet each other. After she goes past, Carmilla gives the witch murderous looks for barring her from having a conversation with Dostan on the first day.
Over the next three days, Azor is working with Dostan.  On day one, Azor is seen running suicides down the halls, With Dostan.  Out of nowhere Dostan yells drop, and Azor drops and starts to do push-ups.  This goes on several times this day. On day two they add crunches where Dostan slaps the abdomen of Azor and the push-ups change to 8 count body builders.  This routine goes for an hour long work out, 5 times this day. This continues into the third day.
Day 1: Sandow wakes early, eats simple, does some exercise in his room, reads some random books, and toys with the alchemy lab, not crafting or anything, but just regularly using it for what seems like no reason. Eventually eats again, and then goes to sleep, never leaving his room unless necessary. Day 2: Sandow wakes early, stretches, and then has a feeling to look over the room, inspecting every part of it closely in his paranoid manner. If he finds nothing of interest, he goes to the kitchen and finds himself some food, before walking about the house, carefully watching anyone about, learning what he can from their mannerisms. Goes to bathe, and then probably heads to bed. Day 3: Sandow sleeps in till noon, grabs food. Occasionally has the thought the servants keep watching him whenever he does something. Thinking the servants are watching him, he ignores most of them, but smiles whenever he thinks the elf servant is watching him. Once receiving his things, he spend the rest of the day fitting his leather armor, and sharpening his new weapons. He organizes his alchemist lab in preparation for the next day so he can prepare his extracts to go.

Consider it done, just deduct of course any applicable currency you have to spend. Let me know what you ask.  (Before the next session please) 2. If you're around tomorrow we can RP a little on that and try some diplomacy/bluff/intimidate at your choice.  3 and 4 You find the house is divided in such a way that the east wing and west wing on the ground floors are for Tiadora and Thorn. The upstairs east wing is for the White Ravens, the west wing is for all of you.  The servants, and other guests stay in more of a back area of the home. It is still accommodating but it is a central place for them all to stay. It appears to be an old trauma room that was converted many years ago into a series of bunks. They are actually quite spacious. Queen Size bunks. The library, of what there is, allows for some basic studies. It hasn't been used in sometime.  You image taking a good full week of scouring this library would aid you to a single knowledge of +4. It's not in any particular arrangement either. Making studying a bit difficult.   As far as secret places, it isn't exactly secret but you did find the room to the basement which is an adamantine door, locked with 9 locks.  (At this point you would know now that was the entry point to the sub-basement to begin the trial) 5.  If you can point to me where it actual heals people in addition to the hangover effects that would be helpful. I don't see the healing portion.  TO DO: RP elise and trik if possible.  Gather info questions and roll perception/diplomacy ect.
I think everyone is clear on it but just in case I wasn't: There are two ways these d3's that turn into a % of experience work.  Example 1: In game, you complete something, we're actively playing, talking and I'm tracking to myself things I want to award you bonus exp for. At the end of that session (or with in a days time) I will say you each got 1400 experience. Then I will tell each of you roll a number of d3s. I may say hey Bless roll 6d3 for me. He does, and gets 12.  He will take 12% of 1400 experience which would grant him an extra 168 experience.  Example 2: Downtime, when we're basically playing by post, and sometimes I may go into game and play with you solo, you can possibly get some d3s that way to. I might say hey Carmilla, after that bit of down time, roll 12d3 for me. And she does and gets 25. This will be a bonus 25% of the overall experience she has gotten. Say she is currently at 3800 experience. That would gain her another 950 experience to her total.  Downtime may not always be applicable, sometimes we may end a session in the middle of combat for example. Unfortunate, but it would use no down time.  Also downtime IN GAME is not the same as downtime OUT OF GAME. So lets say we would have not had to end the first session where we did and you could continue on playing, those three days in the prison would have become ingame downtime and any bonus exp award would go against the total exp you gained as a result of your actions of that session.  No one brought this up to me or anything, I just felt like I didn't explain it well.
It seemed pretty clear, and has been the way I have done it thus far.
1) Rumours: 1.'What is the king and the princess's current relationship like' 2.'What is the latest gossip on the princess' 3.'What is the latest news on the inquisitions whereabouts'; 4.'What our people's opinions on the inquisition' 5.'What are peoples opinions on the high-ranking clergymen of the Mitran church' 6.'Who is the most feared individual in all of Talingarde'; 7.'How is the economy doing for manual labourers' 8.'How is the economy doing for members of the Mitran clergy' 9.'How much agency do people feel they have over their own lives in general' 2) I'm down for sometime today, just cleaning my house for the new year. 3&4) If I could, I would shoo the servants away and use detect magic as well as taking 20 on perception(or whatever it would be) to try to find magic books and/or books on propaganda and attacking someone's public image. If I find one of those I would read it for the rest of the day, otherwise I would look for a book on alchemical or magical item creation(preferably on building constructs or brewing potions) 5) I have this trait , which makes alchemical remedies heal 1 HP(and increases any alchemical bonuses they provide by 1). It is mostly for out of combat healing or removing diseases/poisons, because you have to drink each dose 1 at a time(so me giving them 5 doses just means out of combat they can heal 5 HP at some point by spending 5 rounds chugging it). Once we have the wand it won't help all that much, but it's nice for now.
Next time you should use the spell to try and figure out what is our official status with the authorities. As in believed dead, or believed fugitives.
I believe last time it was checked, we were believed dead or captured by the barbarian tribes.
Correct, on the first casting of that spell after the escape reported that troops and knights see this as a raid, leaving little in the way of survivors.
