Can you see the sheet but it only has the Bio tab? There are two places a GM needs to give you permission, one is to see the sheet in your journal, the other is to edit it. If you can see it, but don't have the Edit button on the top right, then they gave you one permission but not the other. Ask your GM to make sure your name is in both places.
