Can't find friends.

So I have tried going to private message and entering their name in the recipients box.  Nothing is found, something this basic should not be this annoying.  Any help is appreciated.

You may be able to find them if they listed any games other than D&D5E by searching those games in the player directory, if you know what handle they signed in as. I often find people have multiple names. An email name of Scarlet avenger, on Reddit might be batman355 and be Little Pony 666 on roll 20. D&D5E has about 2 million players, so it could take a lifetime to find one. Also if you have contact outside roll 20, create a game and invite them, even if it is just a place to plan games.

The easiest way to contact your friends is to email them your profile url and have them either contact you through a pm or they email you their profile link. As al e mentioned, there are millions (3 million+ now) of members and finding a specific person without specific information is impossible. With that said, if you know their id number and their roll20 name, you can find them easy. Just replace the ID NUMBER and USER NAME in the link and use it in your address bar.
