Recap Session - The Frosthammar Part 1

You successfully joined the knot of thorns. You are now on a voyage to the Bugbear Camp of the Fire-Axe with a huge stock pile of arms and armor. You are to eliminate the dwarven captain Kargeld Odenkirk. Then, you must break down the garrison of Balentyne to allow the bugbears to pillage the northern settlements. Total exp for each of you: 1,605. Captain Edward Sambryl 800 12 Sailors 1620 Nerianus Male Triton Oracle 1200 Dolphin 1 200 Dolphin 2 200 Triton Warriors  2400
I won't have much time for downtime RP stuff, but I can tell you, you'll have 3 days of available time while Kargeld takes you to Seal Isle.
Honestly, not convinced we should allow him to take us to this Seal Isle. (Though I worry convincing him out of it, convinces us out of some xp/treasure in that area lol.) I'm contemplating threatening him, such as "I thought you said you knew Thorn, I'm surprised you would take the risk of going off course with people that report directly to him." And then I need to know if we think we could manage the ship and the route, because I'm considering slaughtering the crew here and taking the rest of the trip ourselves.
Go ahead and just post what you plan on telling him/threatening him with/bribing him with and so on. Roll the appropriate diplomacy or intimidate check and post it here.
I'd like to confer with the others before I do anything hasty. If the rest of the group wants to continue to the isles, I'll leave it be, but if no one minds getting rough, and possibly having to take the ship ourselves, then I'll write it up lol. I'll message on discord and see what everyone's thoughts are.

Bless waves for Grumblejack to stand in-between the sailors and the group, and Bless waves the others to gather close, "I for one don't think we should be deviating from the course, but that man's axe swings were as powerful as Grumblejacks, moreso even. If one of you thinks you could intimidate him into agreeing you should go for it, but I'm not the most well-to-do in battle so if it comes to that it would be up to Azor and Carmilla getting a good surprise attack I think. What are the rest of your opinions on the matter? I believe we should wait for landfall, as I have observed how they work the ship in my free time, but there are so many of them I'm not sure if I would be able to do it myself. Perhaps defeating the leader would convince the others to assist in the ship guiding process. Personally I don't trust anyone I don't have a contract with, and I had an idea for a contract with all of you if you're willing to listen... A sort of safety measure in case any of you are captured so I can find you."
Sandow eyes the group of pirates suspiciously before turning to talk with the group. "I am not happy with this deviation, it is outside our job, and delays the upcoming battle. We shouldn't be blamed for a late delivery here. Personally...the Captain is weak from the battle, we should act quickly, or we need to take care of this in his sleep. We may be able to convince the rest to help us complete our delivery, but I doubt they will be so kind to a mutiny. And we can handle any contracts in a less pressing moment. Thoughts?"
