how does the ENCUMBRANCE variant rules in the D&D 5E by Roll20 works ?

ok so i'm using the Encumbrance rules from the PHP p. 176. Mostly because one of my players is carrying 120 arrows in 6 quivers and he keeps saying that's possible. So according to the PHP rule, he is encumbered since the total weight is over 5 time is Strengh. yet the Character shhet doesn't say anything, and is base speed isn't changed. (He should have lost 10 feet). He Roll20 only react if we exceed to Total carrying capacity of Strengh *15. it seems the Variant rules doesn't work and only the simple version work. Or i my missing something ? (maybe it doesn't work with a basic account ?)

If I'm looking at it right quivers weigh 1lb and 20 arrows are 1lb, so that's only 12lbs total. Unless you player's strength score is really low it seems totally possible, depending on their other gear. The variant encumbrance rule on the character sheet seems to work fine for me. I set a player's strength to 10 and at 51lbs it said "encumbered" and at 101 it said "heavily encumbered". It does seem to be a per character setting though so make sure that it's set in that specific player's character sheet.
how do you do the per character setting ? ( and by the way, 120 arrows would be fine if he was naked without an explorer kit and a chain mail)
