Some questions that may help you decide on your Disads 1) How does your character value life? Would you harm innocents, would fight in self defense only? (pacifism measures how you value life) 2) Do you see other peoples or beliefs as inferior. (Intolerance disadvantage, this is very common in the time) 3) Do you have principles or code of honor? (Even thieves have a code of honor. Merely being professional means honoring your deals especially when you are paid. More serious codes of honor brings you into danger (Soldier), even more extreme codes of honor pushes you to look for danger (Chivalry) 4) Do you feel any social obligations to Family, Team, Peers, or Tribe. (Sense of Duty) 5) Are you practicing your religious duties and obligations? Christianity demands adherence of Ritualism (Disciplines of Faith Disadvantage). Islam requires abstinence and many prayers. 6) Do you have any loved ones, friends, comrades, etc...(Dependents) 7) Do you have any goals? Are you driven? (Obsession) 8) Is there a Vice or Compulsion, or Love for something that gets you always into trouble. And how often does it get you into trouble? (Various Compulsions and Odious Personal Habits) 9) Do you have Enemies or Rivals? 10) If you have a secret, how dangerous is this: will cause you to lose face and respect, will it cause you to lose your Privilages and Rights, will it cause you torture, maiming, or enslavement, or will it get you killed? Note other than the 150 points. We will roll on the Background Table (using roll20) to see if you can get a special background. Its free points but you will obviously have to come from that background.
