Non-GM worth getting Pro account?

Is it worth it as a player to have a Pro account?  From what I read it seems like the benefits are only on the side of the GM.  I was thinking of subscribing but not sure if it would be worth it.  I do not know if my GM has an account above the free level or not (I just sent him an email to ask).  We never use tokens.  Is it possible for a player to be a pro account and give another player GM privileges?  If so can that be applied to an already established game?  I dont want to gift him a pro subscription as I am thinking of running a game myself.    Thank you.

There is very little about a Pro subscription that will benefit you in a non-pro subscriber created game.  Things that might apply as a player: you will have more storage for uploading images, access to the Character Vault, a selection of bonus marketplace content, and no ads. You cannot confer your benefits onto a game you didn't create. You will get lots of benefit from a pro account as GM, particularly from API Scripts, Dynamic lighting, and the Transmogrifier.

Character Shaat Authors who don't happen to GM does have use for Pro for creating and testing characters sheet, I'm part of that small minority. Don't think there are much else, other than there might exist some avid API Scripters too in the same manner.

I'm not sure if this got answered clearly. Yes, you can create a game and grant GM privileges to another player, including the ability to use and edit API scripts. No, you cannot do it to a game you did not create. If you created the already established game in question, it would gain all the Pro features were you to subscribe.
Thank you for all of the replies.  I may speak with the GM and ask what he would like to do.

One thing to think about is to talk to the entire group and see if everyone wants to donate a dollar or two to the GM so he can buy the appropriate subscription per month. This method has been used by many groups including ones that use a rotating GM and games. When the old GM stops running the game, the donation is stopped. When the next GM pickups the next game, everyone starts donating to the new GM so he can subscribe to the appropriate level. Upside of this method is that the cost of the subscription is shared amongst the group.
