Gift to Recent player broken

The search function for gifting is in alphabetical order. Seems reasonable. However, I have quite a few people in there and it doesn't include the person (DM) I am looking for.... Try to gift Xanathar's to my DM Search for St****** ~no result~ So needless to say this is keeping moneys in my wallet that would otherwise be spent by now.
