Hi everyone !
Since some of you seemed to have enjoyed my last battle report, here’s another one, of a game that happened 3 days ago between two members of the Roll20 Warhammer40k community.
Once again, please note that English is not my native language, so please excuse all the spelling and grammar mistakes.
So, here we go. This game was clash between a clan of Orks and a military force from the Tau Empire, decided to take over the planet controlled by the greenskins.
To begin with, here are the two armies :
The Ork clan, led by a Warboss and his Meganobz, embarked in a Trukk : 2 troops composed of 30 Ork Boyz, 1 Troop of 30 Shoota Boyz, 10 Lootas, 1 Deffdread, 3 Killa kans with Rokkit Launchas, 12 Warbikerz, 10 Lootas, and the aerial support of a Blitza-Bommer.

Then the Tau Empire forces led by the Commander Shadowsun and her squad of Stealth Armour Team : 2 groups of 8 pathfinders, 3 Broadsides, 2 squads of 12 Fire Warriors one of them led by Cadre Fireblade, a Team of 3 XV8 Crisis Battlesuits, 2 Hammerheads with Ion Cannon, and a colossal Riptide with Ion Accelerator.

DEPLOYMENT
So, here we go, here's what the battlefield looked like after deployment, considering the Orks deployed first, and are playing first :

The game mode is The Relic : there’s one objective in the middle of the map, and whoever controls it at the end of the game gets 3 victory points, and the 3 secondary objectives are Slay the warlord, Linebreaker, and First Blood (they are each worth 1 victory point)
ORKS TURN 1
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
The Orks start the battle by doing what they do best : run toward the enemy lines in a completely disorganized fashion, led by their Warboss in his Trukk, roaring at full speed through the battlefield.
The Lootas take some shots in direction of a squad of Pathfinders, killing 3 of them in the process while the green horde advances.

ASSAULT PHASE
No assault from the Orks, because the blue Humies in orange armor are too far, what a bunch of coward.
TAU EMPIRE TURN 1
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
The commanders give the order to stand the line, despite the waves of greenskins rushing toward them, the Tau soldiers stand their grounds, and open fire in perfectly organized volleys. Almost every shot counts, and more than 30 greenskins bite the dust on the fire row of shots from the Taus.
The Commander Shadowsun and her troop of stealth team unleash their weapons into the side of the Warboss Trukk, blowing it up before the Boss even realizes what’s happening.
The Broadside team manages to blow up two of the three Killa-Kans immediately on their first few shots, leaving only one still operating.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Tau soldiers are wise enough to know that trying to charge into a tide of Orks is usually equivalent of committing suicide, thus no charge is declared during turn 1.
ORKS TURN 2
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
Once again the Orks keep running as fast as they can toward the Tau firelines, trying to get in melee combat, knowing that those fragile blue Humies probably don’t stand a chance against them. The Warboss gets out of the remains of his beloved Trukk, and starts walking toward his new target : the Riptide battlesuit, completely ignoring the Commander Shadowsun and her squad hiding in the woods just next to him. The Blitza-Bommer comes in, and starts shooting his Big Shootas at a squad of pathfinder, killing 4 with the help of the Deffdread. The lootas focuses their fire on the Fire Warrior squad commanded by Fireblade, killing 5 Tau soldiers. The Bikers also manages to gun down a single Pathfinder. The last remaining Killa-Kan somehow kills one of the Crisis Battlesuits with a single well-aimed Rokkit ‘in the face’.

ASSAULT PHASE
The bikers keep rolling with their momentum, trying to charge the Pathfinder Squad, two of them dying to the well organized overwatch fire from the Taus, but the 2 last Bikers led by a Nob manage to engage the pathfinder in a bloddy melee combat, and the poor Tau soldiers get smashed to a bloody pulp.
The Warboss, decided to take down this huge thing that is the Riptide Battlesuit doesn’t quite realize how heavy the Mega-Armour he and his Meganobz are wearing is. They don’t manage to charge the Riptide, and one of the meganobz falls to overwatch fire.

TAU EMPIRE TURN 2
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
Once again, keeping calm and standing their grounds, the Tau fireline unleashes the torrent of shots in the vague direction of the Ork tide. More than a dozen Boyz fall to the combined fire of Fire Warriors and Hammerhead, while the Bikers are annihilated by a volley of shots at almost point blank range from the second squad of Fire Warriors.
Shadowsun and the Riptide destroy all of the remaining Meganobz, leaving the Warboss alone and wounded, while the second hammerhead blows up the Deffdread, and the Broadside team tries to bring down the Blitza-Bommer before it gets a chance to unleash it’s Ork-made bombs on top of the firelines, but they completely miss their target.

ASSAULT PHASE
Once again, wise decision by the Tau Empire: no assault is declared against the orks.
ORKS TURN 3
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
Because that’s pretty much all they do, the Orks keep doing what they do best: running toward the enemy, and closing the gap that kept the Taus safe until now. The Lootas, finally realizing how much of a threat the Commander Shadowsun is, decide to open fire on her squad, only killing a single Stealth Suit. The Blitza-Bommer flies over the Crisis battlesuit team, and drops a Boom Bomb right on top of them, killing one of them, leaving the Sha’vre on his own. Meanwhile, the grot shooting the front guns of the plane manages to take down 2 more pathfinders.
The combined shots of the Ork Boyz and Shoota Boyz manage to kill a total of 5 Fire Warriors, and the remaining fire warriors brace for impact: the charge is coming.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Warboss charges the Riptide battlesuit, and manages to damage it, while not take any damage. The first squad of Boyz tries to assault the Fire Warrior squad led by Cadre Fireblade, but the overwatch shots from the Taus manage to kill enough Orks to stop them from charging.
The second squad of Boyz, after losing 5 Orks to the overwatch shots, manage to close the gap and start wiping the floor with the poor Fire Warriors. The last Killa Kan also manages to charge the Crisis team Sha’vre, and engages in a one to one mech combat.

TAU EMPIRE TURN 3
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
Once again, the Tau forces stand their ground, while the commander shadowsun gets into position and obliterates the remaining Ork Boyz. Cadre Fireblade’s Fire Warriors fires their volley in the Shoota Boyz, trying to take hold of the Relic in the center of the map, and kills a dozen of them.
Orders changed for the rest of the army: the new priority target are the lootas. The 2 hammerheads and the Broadside squads, helped by the Pathfinders markerlights disintegrate 8 of the 10 Lootas, leaving only 2 of them standing.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Warboss finally manages to get rid of the Riptide, as the Ork Boyz finishes the job on the 2 poor remaining Fire Warriors, turning them into a red mist. The mech combat ends as the Crisis Suit manages to get one last hit on the Killa Kan, making it unusable.

ORKS TURN 4
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
The Ork Warboss changes target after destroying the Riptide, going toward the Hammer, while the Ork Boyz, having finished the Fire Warriors, decides to take on a bigger target, and run in the direction of the Broadside team.
The shoota Boyz finish off the 2 remaining pathfinders, while the combined shots of the Lootas and the grot gunner embarked on the Blitza-Bommer kills 2 stealth suits.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Warboss starts to charge the Hammerhead but gets shot and finally falls to the Fire Warriors overwatch.
The Ork Boyz manage to get in melee with the broadside, and bring down one of the Broadsides Battlesuits, before the remaining two smash them down.

TAU EMPIRE TURN 4
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
None of the Tau force moves, and they immediately keep shooting at the Ork remaining forces. A dozen more Shoota Boyz go down under the shots of the Fire Warriors and the Crisis Suit Sha’vre. The two remaining broadsides try once again to take down the Blitza-Bommer, but don’t manage to get a single serious hit on it. Finally the two hammerheads finish off the surviving Lootas, leaving the Blitza-Bommer and Shoota Boyz as the only living Ork forces left.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Crisis Suit Sha’vre decides to charge the shoota boyz, and kills one before getting overwhelmed by the greenskin, and eventually go down under the number of hits.

ORKS TURN 5
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
The surviving Shoota Boyz starts running away, holding the relic, toward the cover of the trees. Meanwhile, the Blitza Bommer flies toward the Commander Shadowsun, but as the pilot tries to drop a Boom-bomb on top of the squad, something goes wrong in the Ork-made aircraft. One of the engines catch on fire, and the plane starts circling down, and it crashes right on top of Shadowsun and her guards, killing EVERYTHING in an explosion of metal, blood, and Orkish glory.

ASSAULT PHASE
The Shoota Boyz being the only unit left alive for the Orks, no assault is made this turn.
TAU EMPIRE TURN 5
MOVEMENT & SHOOTING PHASE
All the remaining Tau units focus fire on the shoota boyz, but for some yet unknown reason, two of them to be unkillable.

ASSAULT PHASE
No assault declared : no one is in range of the Shootas.

And this marks the end of turn 5 : the players rolled a dice, on a 3+ the game continues, on a 1 or 2 the game ends. The game ENDS. The battlefield at the end of the game :

The final score is :
Taus : First Blood, Slay the Warlord = 2 points
Orks : Slay the Warlord, Control of the Relic = 4 points
