Question about creating custom content...

So, I'm trying to add a new race to Roll20. I'm using the 5e stuff, dunno if that's important. In the charactermancer it won't let me add a subrace if I add a custom race. It stops at feats, that's it. Seems pretty limiting for some reason so I wanted to check and see if I was doing something wrong or if there was a workaround. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Claire. When you add a custom race to your character sheet in charactermancer, it's only going to apply to that single character. Because subrace options are the same as race options, there isn't a custom subrace (when something is unique, it doesn't need further classification). Does that help answer your question?  Aslo, when you say it stops at feats, what do you mean? Is the charactermancer hanging when you try to apply changes?
No, it's just, on any other race, if it has a subrace, the subrace option is below that. As it turns out the homebrew I'm pulling from, every single race has a subrace to pick from...so I guess I'm outta luck. o/ The help is appreciated.
You just enter the subrace characteristics as part of the general race information. For example, Elves get +2 Dexterity and have subraces of Wood Elf (+1 Wisdom) or High Elf (+1 Intelligence). If I were making a Wood Elf character using the Custom Race option, I would combine both the traits from Elves, with the traits from Wood Elf. So I would put both the +2 bonus to Dexterity as well as the +1 bonus to Wisdom.  As Stephanie points out, because you are using the custom race functionality, and the charactermancer custom settings apply only to the one character instead of every character, you don't need to specify a subrace for the custom race. As far as the charactermancer is concerned, the subrace is  the main race of the character.
Oh, I see...hm. I guess that works too. \o/ Hope is not lost.
