New DM - looking for help using a module properly

So apparently my last post wasn't clear enough that I need help using Roll20 and that the tutorial has been no help. So once again, if there is a kind soul who would be willing to help me out that would be fantastic. The biggest issue that I am having is the players I am DMing for cannot see the maps in the module no matter how many settings I tweak. Because all they see is a black square they cannot access their tokens and we cannot start our campaign. So hopefully this thread does not get shut down for not being clear enough.

Hi Tanner, I'd recommend reading the sections on Dynamic Lighting on the wiki, especially the system specific ones here (linked to the 5e section, assuming that is what you are playing): https://wiki.roll20.net/Dynamic_Lighting_Examples#Dungeons_and_Dragons_5th_Edition and the basic info on lighting here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Dynamic_Lighting Light and vision is based on token settings for lighting. From what it sounds like, you have dynamic lighting enabled but no light sources or tokens set up with vision. Also, you may have Fog of War enabled from what you are describing, and not have revealed anything to your players. Hopefully that gives you a place to start troubleshooting. If you can take screenshots and post them (helpful hint - the forum has issues with posting images sometimes, so generally easier to post them on imgur or another photo hosting site and then link them here) of your page settings regarding fog of war and lighting, as well as token settings for lighting, that will also help to figure out what settings might not be correct. Edit to add - if you are using a purchased module, then the pages should be set up correctly for dynamic lighting, which means it is almost certainly something with your token settings.
