If book is bought, shows up in compendium?

Hello! I wanted to know if, when you buy a book on the marketplace, all the relevant info (extra races/classes/backgrounds/feats/spells/items) become searchable in the compendium on your account. Greetings, M

That is correct, you can still access the SRD versions as well if needed.

This is mostly true, although keep in mind adventure modules don’t currently add info to the compendium. Monsters, backgrounds, spells, etc. that are unique to an adventure are not added into the compendium, but do have handouts or character sheets in the adventure itself.

That's a great and valid caveat, thanks Loren! I was focused on the rule books by default but certainly worth highlighting the module differences :)
Thanks for the info! If I'm correct, there's no way to have UA content added to your compendium, right?

That is correct, compendiums don’t support custom content at this point.

Thanks! That's a bummer haha And do new compendium options get added to the charactermancer automatically?

New compendium options get added as they get coded into the Charactermancer. So, for example, Ravnica, Xanathar's, and the PHB are all supported in the Charactermancer. Volo's and Mordenkainen's support is in the works, but hasn't been released yet.
