everyone is either american time based or playing at the weekend, or playing 4th ed - is there somewhere else to look other than the forums? im pretty desperate to find a 3.5 group that plays weekdays, on uk-time evenings.
You might want to check out Wizards' web site; there's a gamer classified section that could be of use to you ( over here ). Also, you might wish to get involved over in Google+ and find groups centered around 3.5 or online gaming in general (there's a Roll20 group over there for instance). Then there are also system neutral RPG websites like <a href="http://www.therpgsite.com" rel="nofollow">www.therpgsite.com</a> and <a href="http://www.rpg.net" rel="nofollow">www.rpg.net</a> that might have someone else in the same position that you're in.
If you are willing to make the move to Pathfinder (3.5 variation) the Paizo messageboards (paizo.com) is where I got my games of Roll20 up and running. - Gauss
dunno where you live, but you should try RPG's sites. In Poland we have 1-2 most known portals, with forum which have LFG sections. ofc it's always hard to find team, since real games are better, but you can try.
