Sounds for attacks and monster deaths.

Hi I was thinking would it be possible to have sounds linked to attacks and the right sounds for monsters when they die? to add a bit more immersion. for example. if a sword took a swing it would make a swung noise and if it hit it would cut into a creature and the creature would welp or something like that. if it missed it would swing and trigger that sound but it wouldn't make a slice noise. and then depending on the creature it would make the right sound upon death/ taking a hit/ or badly wounded + monster screams.  its a tall ask but it would add so much more immersion for battles. and if you wanted you could toggle it on or off in the options settings.   Just imagine a fireball with a linked FX for it exploding and having the right sound going with it. and then a bunch of enemies crying out in pain.  stuff like that would make a roll 20 game legendary.

This is in the API wheelhouse IMO, and most of what you ask is already possible via the Roll20 Audio Master (Roll20AM) script or the health color auras script. There are several other scripts out there that probably can help with this as well.
so if you click an attack it auto-generates a sound?

Using just Roll20AM, you could put an API command into the character ability for your attack which would cause that command to be sent whenever that attack is sent. Doing a different sound for success or failure of the attack could be done, but would require a custom API or use of the power cards API script in combination with Roll20AM. Similarly, the target's reaction sound would also be a little more difficult; although I believe that the health aura's script will cause sounds to play when certain health thresholds are reached. You can read more about Roll20AM in it's forum thread . The other scripts I've mentioned also have forum threads with more details on how those scripts function.
i dont know how to script this but i think this would be a great implementation.

I use two API Scripts to have attacks generate SFX. You want to use Roll20AudioMaster and Custom Roll LIstener.  This is what the CRL Command would look like for the Flame Strike Spell. And you would need a Track in the Jukebox called "Fireball Spell" You can also use Playlists as types of weapons or damage for example I have a "Swords" Playlist and a "Bludgeoning" Playlist. !crl \\create,name=Flame Strike,[template=npcaction npcatk atk dmg atkdmg spell, text=Flame Strike \\!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu|Fireball Spell !crl \\create,name=Shortbows,[template=npcaction npcatk atk dmg atkdmg spell, text=Shortbow \\!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu|Arrow !crl \\create,name=Scimitar,[template=npcaction npcatk atk dmg atkdmg spell, text=Scimitar \\!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu|Swords
i would like it if the monster manual had linked sounds with it so its easy to trigger.

yeh i mean it would be a part of what makes things worth having an online encounter.  sounds for attacking taking damage critical condition and attack screams and death screams. and then having that attached to monster cards too.
