I am running a custom world setting for mature adult players of any gender, and am looking for 1 or 2 more generally cool and nice people who know or want to learn how to play DnD 5e. I have a year of 5e experience as DM but have a lot of experience and knowledge from DMing earlier editions . This has elements of other settings, but mostly there is a strong reliance on rules in the DMG and PHB developing the world specifically for 5e, and am looking for 1 or 2 players. The party will start at 6th level. We tend to handwave a lot of the "filler" roleplay unless it is story driven. If you want to know every NPC's middle name, this might not be a good game for you. If your PCs personal drama is your priority over the partnership, this is probably a bad fit. If it can be found in an OFFICIAL 5e product, there is most likely a place for it. Feel free if you are a party-centric, respectful, but easy-going player ready to be in a party who have known each other long enough to charter a venture company together. Your PC should be someone who is in a freestates area of a world where magic item stores don't exist (but downtime rules for finding or making one one do as found in official products). Keep in mind who would be a good business partner and ally for the party. None of us are voice actors and streaming it is not an option. Players can vid if they want. I can't on the PC I dm from. This world is designed for 5e and the PC choices are found in all official products, but Subject to approval. The area you are in is a place where people of all races are able to prove themselves, and you have a bit of a reputation befitting a tier 2 PC party. Be a team player, with a team PC and be engaged and ready weekly. Missed sessions should be few and far between. Be ready for some theater of the mind where there is no map sometimes, strategic play, and speed bumps along the way. The campaign starts with session 0 in discord and part of the first session at 7pm next thursday EST. We play by voice by discord and chat throughout the week. The game is generally not going to include roleplayed or detailed sexual content or personal politics at all. I am looking for the player or players that will fit three players chosen already for a good party. The PC(s) that will be a good fit will be decided when we find players that are a good fit.
