Yo! I'm Jackson, 29, trans-man. I'm looking to start a game on Thursdays (any time) or Friday evenings (after 7pm CDT). I work night shift hours, so my schedule is highly nocturnal and the later we can play, the better. I've played since about 2012, but I've been researching and reading up on the games for longer than that (because I didn't have anyone to play with), and I have experience with both 3.5 and 5th editions. I have access to approximately a ton of material I'm glad to convert to 5E, including 3.5 supplement books and content from Kobold Press, along with a slowly growing compendium of my personal homebrew options, all of which I'm more than happy to share. My play style is heavy on roleplay and I love character and story building progression . That said, I am not averse to extended scenes of combat. Political intrigue seems to be popular, but it isn't something that particularly fascinates me. I also prefer to play in smaller groups , of 6 or less including the DM (i.e. 5 PCs and a DM).  I can and have played both martial and magic classes, and I have little preference between them. I am uncommonly partial to characters outside of the standard races, or those who lack a basic ability to fit seamlessly in society. For example: One of my favorite characters suffered from an intensifying madness, for which I developed my own randomized chart, which manifested as compulsions to do such things as eat dirt, sharpen his teeth, become catatonic for short periods, and indulge in self-mutilation. Another character is just...so stupid. He's so dumb, you guys. Think Brendan Fraser in George of the Jungle, then take away another five to ten points of intellect. I love him so much.  Anyway! This went on longer than I wanted so: TL;DR - Good story, flexibility in content and characters, Thursdays or Fridays nights, 6 total maximum players.
