Option to toggle direction arrows instead of token rotation

This is a fairly straightforward suggestion: In some situation and for some kinds of tokens (especially those showing only a character portrait), rotating them to show facing can be a bit of a less than optimal solution. I would therefore like to suggest the option to overlay a "facing direction" arrow instead of rotating the token , toggleable on a token-by-token basis (alternatively a map-wide basis). The arrow would appear as icon overlaying the token at a corner and possibly move around it as the token's facing is changed. This way, players would be able to show the token facing without actually turning it "upside down" in campaigns using portraits instead of hard-to-obtain isometric/bird's eye character tokens.
