Is there any way to make a custom Compendium currently?

I have been looking around for a way to make a custom compendium for a homebrew game. As well as to include information from dnd books I own physical copies of. Is there any way for me to customize a compendium to include this info?
Sadly no. You could make handouts with these information, but no compendium. There's a suggestion in the suggestions forum about custom compendium. Maybe you could give it a vote?

They touched on this in the recent roundtable. The answer essentially "It's more complicated then it seems". It is something they would like to do though, no timeline. For now using handouts linked to handouts is your best option. It's a lot of work but you can pretty much create a whole book in handouts and Archive the handouts. Take a look at these links to show you how: https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Link_Between_Journal_Entries https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRU4yZHRmQQ

I do have a huge and complicated macro that writes various features to the shaped sheet. It could be adapted for other sheets, but it would absolutely require the API.
Thank you very much everyone who responded I will look into what you linked.
