Character name in chat window functions

Hi, quick question: When you perform a function on your character sheet and it appears in the chat window as an action, I noticed sometimes the character's name is at the bottom of the function. For newer players, it doesn't display the character's name, for instance, when you click on a Str. saving throw, the roll appears in the chat window but some players modify it to include their name at the bottom, some (usually newer players) don't have this. Attack rolls also display this, as well as various other actions. My question is, how do you get the character's name to appear at the bottom?

What sheet are you talking about? Have you looked at the wiki page if the sheet you're using have a guide? If it's the DnD5E OGL sheet, it has a comprehensive guide there.

You can also check the settings page of your character sheet, if it has one. Sometimes the option to include the character name in a roll template is there.
