Cannot Upload Images for Rollable Token

No matter what image I select, I cannot upload images for a rollable token.

Here's an example image:

Here you can see that I've dragged it to the table successfully, but trying to upload it to to the token as an icon still fails:

No error message.  No loading bar.  Just silently fails to upload.

Are you trying to drag an image from the table? An image on the table is now an object (token or drawing), or an image that is performing a function. You should be able to drag an image from your library. If that doesn't work, there may be other problems.

Note: AFAIK, you cannot drag an animated image into a rollable token.

Hmm. I'm reading a little more carefully. If your intent is to make a rollable token, the work order is this:

Drag an image from your library to each entry on the rollable table.

Save the table

Press the "token" button next to the table's name. That will create a token on the tabletoop.

Don’t forget to first upload the token to your library. First, drag the token from your desktop or folder onto the Roll20 virtual tabletop. The upload may fail if the file size is too large.

If all this is true, why is there a "Choose a File" button?

Choosing a file should upload to your library and the table at the same time. I had assumed since the graphic was on the playing surface already and din't want you to waste space by uploading a second instance. But upon further testing, it appears that the "Choose a file…" button does nothing in this instance. This is a bug. Thanks for catching it, and I'll report it.

In the meantime, the workflows provided above should work. Please post back if it doesn't and we can figure out what's going wrong.

You can upload to your rollable table that way as well, but only from your library, which you must populate first.

The "Choose a file.." button comes up with a dialog box for me which allows me to upload from my HD, but not from my library. Except, it doesn't actually allow me to do anything. Are you getting a different behavior?

Hi Toshimo, please update us and let us know if the above helps resolve your issue - thanks!

Update: The button should upload a file from the disk, but doesn't. This has been acknowledged as a bug and ticketed.
