Posted this a week ago, but one of the players wasn't reliable. We're currently looking for 1 more player for a story and rp driven Heroic campaign on Saturdays 8pm - 12am EST. Aspects of problem solving, explorations and combat will still be present, so a decently made character is still important. This campaign does get into the political aspects of the world (please do not discuss personal politics) and the races have a heavy influence on psychology, culture and lore. This is a limited race campaign, with only Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Humans, Genasi and Dragonborn. With races having different psychology than humans in the base game, I wanted to fully explore this difference and how their culture and mindset affects them. This means you won't be able to play them as re skinned humans, but actually have to get into that mentality (Not as hard as it seems). Anyone with moderate RP skills can do this easily I think . The campaign is set on an island with a mixed climate of grassland and desert, with the group mainly in the desert. I want to emphasize the Heroic part, as good alignments are the most optimal way to play this. Evil is banned, save lawful evil for those who are good at using them in a heroic setting. Because RP is a main factor, there are multiple ways to accomplish your goals. Path's throughout the story are flexible and allow players freedom to choose how they want to approach an issue. Combat does not always have to end in conflict, rather players have the option to resolve it through speech or other methods. The world itself is moving along even if you aren't, so events can change or be missed depending on how you play. This is also a low magic campaign, however, I have an alternative progression path for players to compensate for this that involves their race, class and gods. Currently there is only 1 full caster slot available. I expect players to be respectful, engage in the story, not meta game to an extent, it happens), and to not slow down the game with arguments about ruling/other reasons.
