[LFP] MAGE THE ASCENSION 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION!!!

Experienced GM looking for Players for a weekly M20 game. Storyline has been written and ready to go once 4 players get on board.
I’m new to roll 20. I have played some 5e one shots, but I’m still a beginner and would love to learn more. I would love to play if you don’t mind having a noob.
I've played a lot of DnD 5E, and even a bit of 1/2e, and I'd love to play some M20. What times were you thinking?  I've never played the game but I've read a lot of the books for it.
Potentially interested depending on the day and time of the game. I have a lot of experience with World of Darkness, but not a ton with Mage
Martin - World Of Darkness is an easy game to learn, starting new and learning what the WoD is can have its advantages RP-wise as that is a large part of any WoD chronicle. "What am I? and What the hell is that?" are common questions. Jihelu- Knowing Lore is great since you may be able to pick up on cues and some other beneath the beneath story leads which can lead to some further flung storyline. John- Mage offers a lot of great flexibility compared with Vampire or Werewolf since you don't have to specialize in a party role or a neat party trick along a path at character creation, (I.e. I haven't eaten an antediluvian so I can't learn vicissitude 9). This flexibility comes with the problem of disbelief in the form of paradox. Paradox is one of the few limitations that the mage has but it can be overcome or avoided with wits and imagination. Thursday evenings (CST) is a good game time for me but I'm usually flexible in the evenings after work. What days and times are you guys looking to go for? I'm trying for weekly games but I'd be willing to go for bi-weekly games if that fit your schedules better.
Haven't played Mage yet but have been wanting to for a while. Only WoD experience I have is V20, C20, and a little bit of W20. I want to say I have a grasp of the mechanics and lore; understanding what makes up the paradigm system and how Paradox is handled from what I've read. I can do weekly games; Thursdays are negotiable for me though I'd prefer a different evening if possible.
Hayhay I would LOVE to learn Mage.  My WoD experience is a all a little bit of Vampire, but I know the very basics of the system.  What does evening mean to you?  I've been looking for an after-work game in central time forever
I could probably swing Thursdays. Could you tell me a bit about the campaign? Like the setting and themes you want to explore?
Thursday works pretty good for me. Anytime after like, 12AM works wonderful on thursday. Any restrictions on paradigms you don't particularly like/traditions that may be banned? I had an idea forever ago of a 'rogue' technocracy agent but, eh. Sometimes hyper-tech ain't all its cut out to be x3.
I'm thinking 6 or 7 PM till 11pm for the game slot
That works well for me.
I am interested as well... if you still have room?
I'm not too terribly stuck on paradigms but that might be something that you can discuss with your fellow players. Ex-technocracy is fine but I may require you to take a flaw for that (freebie points with that of course). I'm more interested in the pillars that hold up that paradigm. Things like why do you believe that your alchemy works or what type of interface/mediums you are able to manipulate the code that makes a tree. I'm less concerned about affiliation and more concerned about your player concept. I'm ok with most paradigms just as long as they are playable and not marauders or active technocracy. If you want to have a friend who's a night folk, cool just as long as you put the points into it during character creation. Items and allies acquired in game are more or less free in terms of experience but permanent skills and attributes are purchasable with xps with an in game justification.
Are you keeping it to four players or is that just your minimum? :o
4 is the minimum I need to run but I'd like to keep things to 4-7 at the table.
Got an idea for an Ecstatic and an Akashic that I'd love to try out.
Just so everyone knows this, even people lurking! You can buy the Mage 20 PDF for a big discount right now! It's normally 30 some odd dollars for the PDF and right now it's 7.50 on Drive Thru RPG!

Nice, that's good to have for reference. Don't feel pressured to get it if you are playing but definitely worth the read. It's almost 700 pgs. long.
I'd be interested in learning this but have never played this or V:TM  or similar before but let me know if there's room and you'd like an extra newbie player.
I used to play the WoD games growing up, and have been looking to join a group.
I might be interested depending on the day of the week if you have slots open
So far we have been playing on Thursdays at 7 PM Central US
Then I am interested in playing.
