Contacting authors

why is it impossible to send authors pm's? i love an artists work and would like to request more of his work in specific vein?
A lot of the artists post in the forums, specifically this one. You could simply post a request here and they should get it. Otherwise you can contact the devs and ask them to forward a message.
hmm ok thanks ill give it a try.

Because not every author wants to be contacted. Generally the easiest way to contact someone who isn't active on the forums is to send an email to the Roll20 team, and they will forward the message to the artist. That way it's more of an "opt-in" situation if an author wants to respond.

Always happy to make a connection if the creator is willing to be contacted publicly :) Feel free to message team@roll20.net If you click a publisher's name, you'll be taken to their publisher page, where, if they chose to, they'll have information on ways of contacting or finding them as well.
