HiDPI / Retina displays show app content at half the resolution (fuzzy / blurred map)

Hi, i'm using roll20 on two macbook pros with "retina" (HiDPI) displays (2015 & 2017) and sadly that means that everything in the main app is displayed at half resolution. The rendered text is really hard to look at for me, because it always looks super blurred. Blurred text is a big accessibility and usability issue. I can "fix" this, by setting browser zoom to 50% and virtual zoom to 200%, however then the rest of the UI is too small to be usable for me. Zoom-fix (how it should look): How it does look instead: This is not browser-specific (tested on current chrome, firefox, safari), but rather due to unsupported HiDPI displays.  Also reported here, by one of your devs, 2 years ago . However, it seems to have not been fixed. The browser behaviour that is causing this for HiDPI displays, and how to fix it, is well documented:  MDN page It would be awesome if this could be fixed!
Hi Remmy, I am aware of some issues surrounding chrome and retina displays in the past, do you experience this same issue on a different browser such as firefox? Additionally, I would try toggling hardware acceleration (if it is off, then toggle on, and vice versa) and see if the issue persists.

Hi Drespar, yes, i experience the same issue in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, on two different macbooks, as already stated above. Toggling Hardware acceleration is having no effect.
