Currently seeking 2 or 3 players for a d20 modern, zombie survival horror game. The emphasis of the game is the interaction between players dealing with zombies, and other dire forces. The campaign has been ongoing for over a year, new players start at 3rd level and will be basically be on a "mini series" before meeting the rest of the party. Players will begin with basic knowledge of whats going on with the "zombie outbreak", which will be explained in game. Mechanics: d20 Modern Core, 3rd level, No more than 2 Classes, 28 point buy, may assign a +2 to one stat for the cost of -2 to another. Epic 3 Variant, Meaning you will never have more than 3 hit dice, and your starting BaB and Saves won't improve just by leveling up. You may only have one or two base classes, this will determine a lot of how your character will advance at later levels (Each option has positives and negatives.) At each level you will gain a feat and skill points. There are two homebrew feats available Heroic Base Attack Bonus which increases your Base Attack Bonus by one up to the maximum you could normally have at that level, and Heroic Base Save which increases your base saving throws by one up to the maximum you could have at that level. Additional talents may be earned during gameplay or purchased with Feats, and there is a way for Single classed characters to get access to alternate Class talent trees. Advanced Classes are unavailable however you may spend Feats to purchase class features as long as you meet the prerequisites for the Advanced Class and are high enough level (Usually 3+Advanced Class level.) There are no "called shots" but there is a system used for "head shots", nothing the players have to worry about. Starting gear will be handled on a person to person basis, basically you will make a "wishlist" and I will go through and set you up with what I feel is relevant to your characters survival without giving them too much or too little. Current game time has been Thursday at 7pm Eastern, but there is a distinct possibility of moving it to earlier than that. Edit: We use skype for our preffered communication method.
