Compendium Sharing Does not Populate My Players Spell Lists

I apologize if this is somewhere else. Here is the closest thing I could find https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7217228/slug%7D The link above is the exact same issue I am having, however the response does not address the concern. I understand the link to the right annotates that the reference material is the SRD; however, even though my personal results and spell list state its from the SRD, they are nonetheless populated with non SRD materials such as the cantrip Blade Ward. Since I am sharing my content it makes sense to me that their search functionality and mine should be identical as if we were sharing the books at a table IRL. I am not sure if this is simply something you do not intend to implement, or if there is an actual issue. If it is not planned, I would like to suggest you *DO* see if it can be implemented. I run a game with players who are not up to date with all of the WoTC releases so when, say a wizard levels up from 10 to 11, it would be nice if they could go to the "Wizards spells by Level" and see all of the content I purchased for their ease of use. Otherwise, it takes the players doing research outside of Roll20 to find spells available to them, and then coming back to Roll20 to search, drag, and drop.
Hello Ryan S., I am sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue with searching. The devs are aware that certain search results do not work as intended. You can find a response on it here . Unfortunately this will be a larger fix that does not have a time frame for a resolution that can be given at this time. As such, my response in the thread you linked, was a way for your players to be able to pull up the information they desire without searching for it. Instead of searching for a spell list, they can take advantage of the built in filter. Simply select the Compendium tab, scroll down and select the Spell option. Then when the spells load in, select "Filter Results" under the search bar. Then choose the player's Class and apply filter. This will bring up all spells for that player's class from the SRD and any content being shared. It bypasses the issues with searching to get the information required. Let us know if you need additional assistance.
Thanks so much for the quick response! I look forward to the resolution of the issue, but in the meantime, this filter work around is much more viable then what we were doing before.
Hello again Ryan S., No problem at all. We thank you for your understanding. I am going ahead and closing this thread. Feel free to open a new thread if you have any further issues or questions. Happy rolling!
