[LFG] Newbie looking for an intro session

Hi, I've not played any D&D for at least 20 years (i'm 36), but have recently been sucked in, largely by dnd greentext stories on Reddit, and the Pillars of Eternity games. I live in the Middle East, there are no game shops or groups in my country, so this seems the perfect site. I've been reading the 5e player manual, and am now keen to start playing, but between trying to remember the actual mechanics, and then the added complexity of the roll 20 system, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I don't want to jump into a full campaign and risk letting the group down, so really I'm after a patient DM who might be able to run me through a session zero or one-shot to help get me up to speed. I'm GMT+3, but work from home, so am pretty flexible timewise.
Hi Dom, I'm GMT+1 and can help walk you through mechanics again if you like. I can also show you some basics in Roll20.  I did a similar walkthrough with a few others a week or two ago. Let me know if interested.
