Server: March of the Damned You are one of the Hallowed, a ancient and sacred order sworn to the protection of Illandon and foe to all evils that would threaten it. The year is 1198 of the 2nd age and evil has become to rise in the world, taking all manner of shape and form. As a Hallowed it is your duty to seek out and destroy these evils to prevent the world from being consumed by darkness. Can you stem the tide and bring peace to the realm. Notes about this world: Illandon is the mainland in which the players adventure. It rests on the continent of Velendor. The kingdom of Illandon is ruled by the human King Conreid Vellistor III from his seat of power in the capital city of Stonebridge. To the east lies the kingdoms of Rhangoth and Tyrithia, the lands of dwarves and elves respectively. Illandon is on good terms with the dwarves but is coming off of recent warring times with the elves. Across the Elandrian sea to the west is Covor-Nothis, an exotic land home to the mighty empire of Davokaath ruled by dragonborn that stretches across the continent. Across the northern sea is Dhathaar Mhorgus, a continent inhospitable to those unwelcome by its ruling race the Drow, ruled in a patriarchal society called Undaar that is a perversion of the matriarchal society known in the underdark. Within Illandon the Tiefling race was hunted to their believed extinction for their incorrectly assumed involvement in the divine uprising that saw the old gods (forgottem realms deities) overthrown by the new gods (greyhawk deities) while a planar war between celestials, demons, and devils for divinity was waged. The tieflings fled to Covor-Nothis and Dhathaar Mhorgus to seek refuge, the ones in Covor-Nothis cut their tails off to disguise their true forms and those in Dhathaar Morghus live in relative peace under the protection of the Drow kingdom of Undaar. March of the Damned also works on a dual session creation systems. Players can form up for adventures by stating objectives and setting a time for which a DM can then agree to run the session. DMs can also put out quests that have a set date and time for players to sign up for. This allows frequent sessions that allow for both player agency and more pre-planned questing for varied gaming experiences. Players can apply for staff roles to be DMs or Stewards to run sessions and approve new characters/help with onboarding. We at MotD invite you to join us on our adventures in this dark war torn world as you combat dragons, liches, beholders, demons, devils, all manner of other monsters, and perhaps even the gods themselves. -Grand Maester Godric
