"NoMethodError: undefined method `safe_concat' for nil:NilClass" -- ?

May 21 (6 years ago)

So, bit of a story here. Went to open R20, got hit with a blank screen with nothing but this. Looked up the error, got brought here, and this seems to be working just fine. But anytime I try to go to the home screen or get into one of my games, I'm hit with this. NoMethodError: undefined method `safe_concat' for nil:NilClass I have a game that starts in 4 hours and I really need to get this solved. I tried loading the page with and without cookies enabled, but that didn't do anything. When cookies are enabled, I get this error. When they aren't, I'm brought to the sign-in screen but it's telling me login isn't valid, but I know it is.

same here

Same thing is happening to me

Also bumping, I've got multiple friends telling me they're getting the same error

I'm having the same thing, anyone find a fix yet?

Thanks for posting this, searching for this error message and clicking on this post was the only way I was able to bypass that same error and get into my account!

omg this worked. I guess there's something wrong with the redirect after you log in or something, but all my games and everything worked when I clicked on them from here.

Same here and it's Game time D:

Thanks for the bug report and workaround! I've forwarded this to the dev team and it is a high priority to fix. We're tracking this in the bug thread for the May 21 infrastructure update, as it's likely related to that update, so please check there for progress on this issue.
