Mobile browser compatibility?

Is there a specific mobile version that is unlocked if I pay, or is it just the normal version? Is there any way to try it beforehand to make sure it works? This would be extremely useful to me IF it works.

Here is our help file on mobile support. http://help.roll20.net/mobile-support/ If you have any remaining questions please let me know. :) - Gauss
That covers all but "Is there any way to try it beforehand to make sure it works?". Or some screenshots or something? I don't like paying for a mystery box.

To my knowledge there is no try before you buy. But there may be some way that I am unaware of. Perhaps Nolan can help. I will direct him to this thread. - Gauss

ipad 3. I tried it in chrome with "request desktop site" and it didn't work well at all, so I'm hoping the mobile version is better before I clunk down cash.
Only Safari is supported on the iPads - works great - but you (or your GM) have to be a supporter
I can vouch for the iPad 3. It works wonderfully. Video chat doesn't work though, however. My iPhone 4 runs it just fine too. (both with Safari).
