LFP [5E][Wed 7PM GMT] Inviting GUEST players to run liches, evil wizards and other baddies

Looking for 2-4 guests (short-term or one-shot) who would like to offer the best challenge to the party of PCs. We play weekly and use Discord for audio (no video). The campaign is home-brew but I've incorporated some purchased modules. We are post Dead in Thay so although the Doomvault is not a thing anymore there is plenty of other stuff going on. The NPCs I need guests to run are; Szass Tam (Lich Overlord) Tarul Var (Lich) Phaia (Red Wizard) Lahnis (Red Wizard) There are also some miscellaneous NPC/monsters for if/when your NPC dies. At this point, I have no idea when exactly they will encounter you but I'm advertising early to give some time to learn your NPC. Y ou will be expected to know the spells and abilities of your NPC and use them to the best of your ability.  Also, you need to separate player knowledge from character knowledge. There will be a Discord channel and special game for guests to get together and discuss strategies, explore NPC goals and their interactions. I'm thinking about an hour before the actual game. You'll be able to tweak the NPCs as well. The game is heavy on RP so it might take awhile so your patience will be necessary. I do try to fit in RP even in combat. Anyway, if this interests you, reply here to let me know.

As DM with a complex storyline at this point and multiple powerful NPCs in an encounter, I find myself with lots to keep track of, never mind trying to remember each of their abilities and spells. It will take me a few days to set up the Discord channel and Roll20 game just for guests and then I'll send out invites for a "Session Zero". In the meantime, if you have any questions, just ask.

This sounds fun, if even only for a short time, would be enjoyable.  I think the wizards would be fun and by Red Wizard does that equate to something like final fantasy style with multiple styles of magic or something like Slayers Rezo?

I would be interested in play a bad guy, i enjoy playing the liches when i host for players,

Red Wizards of Thay. As in Wizards of the Coast material. Although, my campaign is home-brew and based in a fantasy version of the real world so Thay is, essentially, the Ottoman Empire.

New player, haven't played a single game, an interested in being the bad guy.

Also interested to play here, been playing dnd5e for a while but this is new so would love to do it
