Beginner looking for a game!

Hi there!  newly into dnd and have an itch to play that I’m yet to scratch. Looking to get involved in a campaign or even a couple of one shots to help me test the things I’ve picked up so far as I haven’t had a chance to get to a physical game.  currently been looking at the 5E players book and played around with character design.  Thanks! :) 

Hello a buddy of mine is recruiting for two campaigns. The campaigns are on Sundays and Wednesdays both at 7:00 PM CST.&nbsp; Both of these campaigns are gestalts meaning you level in two classes at the came time gaining abilities from both.&nbsp; It is more complex then regular 5e but could allow for you to try out more stuff for the system, both games incldue their own homebrew you can use as well. The first a Sunday campaign it's based on the Star Wars universe taking place in the old republic.&nbsp; Where you begin in said universe and are transported to a more traditional dnd setting to explore with the worlds colliding. This uses homebrew races and classes from the Final Fantasy series specifically a homebrew set based on FF14 a realm reborn. If you don't mind starting with a text game instead of a voice game, I'm putting together a ghosts of saltmarsh game! Right now, we're looking for a GM, but if we can't find one, myself or another interested player may take over. I have a game that people can drop in/out of. Very ideal for experimenting with new characters and the like, if you're interested. There's a bit of a brutality scale, so the monsters level up with you too.
