Hi all! I'm Riley and I'm looking to be a player in either an Apocalypse World 2nd Ed. game or a Blades in the Dark game. I've taken a massive liking to these games due to how they encourage collaborative storytelling and a narrative focus with solid mechanics to back this up (compared to more traditional RPGs). Some details: I don't have more than myself at the moment so I'd be looking for a GM and other players. Doesn't have to be a pre-existing group either, I'm sure we can work out something if there's a bunch of stray peeps wanting to play. I'm in the UK timezone (currently BST). I'd like to play a session every 1 or 2 weeks. I can make time to play most weekday evenings but around the weekend is ideal. Midnight would probably be the latest I could go. I'd prefer to use Discord for talking but I'm flexible! The group should be LGBT+ friendly. I'm bi + non-binary (they/them pronouns). I'm sure most people are, but if you're not interested in being respectful of this (or anything else to be honest!) then I'm not the player for you. My experience: I've played some D&D 5e, and I've GM'd a few Apocalypse World, Dungeon World and FATE sessions. I've also watched a few Apocalypse World series online so I'm pretty familiar with its rules. On the other hand, I've yet to play Blades in the Dark or fully read the book.
