All the cult members fall to their knees and bow down before an image of a divine being projected by the piercing sun rays. You feel your eyes losing their strength, you can feel the permanent blindness tainting your sight, if you don't look away, you will be just one of the thousands who lost their vision to another Black Dawn... But this must be it, this must be the answer! Do not falter! Keep your eyes opened at all cost! Just a few seconds more and it will be worth it! Just...another moment before... the Sun reappears... " ~ The Gods have shunned the dwellers of the material plane, the Divine have turned their backs to the mortals. In the past few years the nights grew darker and longer, not only in the winter time but throughout all the seasons. Just before the dawn, the Sun rises in what seems to be an eclipsed state, causing unnatural darkness to cover the planet, and for a brief moment every morning, the world is covered with thick blackness, until the Sunlight once again fades in and shines upon another day. Even though every race and nation has its own theory why this strange phenomenon is occurring each day, no true answers are yet found to this omnipresent mystery. Thus was born the fitting name for the current period in time, given by the proud High Elves- Mor Anoron. Which translates to the common language with the meaning of ‘’Black Dawn’’. And so begins, The Age Of The Black Dawn… ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fellow adventurers, Black Dawn campaign is now recruiting more players. We are a group of 3 friends, yours truly as the DM, and 2 players as the core group, with other players who played with us throughout the years. Now, we’re looking for 1 or 2 more players to join our campaign. We play in Pathfinder setting on Roll20, the entire campaign and story is homebrew. We have been playing for roughly six years now so you would be joining with a character level 14. What we’re looking for is someone who enjoys a unique combination of role-playing and battling, some minor modifications to the rules perhaps if needed, and a custom-built world in which you would play the role of someone whose actions may and will influence the outcome of the change and developing. We want people who can devote their true passion and breathe life into a character while leading it through the perils and happenings in the world around them. So, if you are looking for a one night stand, or a short term campaign, this isn’t it. Don't be discouraged by the high level of the PCs or the fact that we've been playing for a long time, newbies are welcome as well, we don't need you to know all the rules by heart, we don't either, we often look things up online and settle it within seconds, so it's all good. We appreciate good role playing over anything else. As a player, you can create your own character the way you want it to be, but please do not make an overpowered character because that’s really not the point. No psions or other overpowered/game-breaking combos. Power-players and min-maxers are not welcome, it's not a competition to see who can make the highest rolls or dish out the most damage or create the most powerful character, put the focus on the RP aspect of your character. You may create your own background story, or we can work on it together. All of us are in Central European Time Zone: GMT+1 . US players usually don’t fit with our schedules so it’s better if you’re in our timezone or something close to it. We tend to play once a week, or at least once every two weeks. We don’t have a fixed schedule, every session is agreed upon in the chats between the players, when we all settle on a time and date that’s it. If it’s a workday it will be evenings, if it’s the weekend we may start earlier. PODCAST : We record the sessions we play on Roll20, one of our players edits them later on and we post the episodes online. We have uploaded the first few episodes on YouTube and you can see them ==> here <== We strongly urge you to give the episodes a look as they will give you the best insight into our gameplay style, type of humor and everything else. Since we already tried connecting with other players online in the past, some with success, some not so much, we decided to make a sort of a trial run with one of our players DMing a little side campaign in the same Black Dawn universe where we’d get a chance to switch roles for a bit and get to know the new potential players, before we switch back to the original campaign. This means we’ll be starting off at level 6 or 7 for now, and if we all agree we got the right players, we’ll go on to the main campaign and level your character up to 14.
