Launching game

Hi, I am, obviously, able to reach roll20.net and get to my games selection however when I launch, I am stuck on the loading screen. I have tried another PC and asked one of the other gamers to also try and we are both failing. I have also tried other games I am subscribed to and also cannot launch them fully either. Is this a short term or long term issue? Thanks,
I'm running into the same issue at the moment (Chrome), can't load other peoples games or my own. Tried cleaning the cache and turning extensions off and no luck so far.
Yeah, same problem here. Our session was really going good and it just cut out. Even worse, I'm the GM.
Same.
Yup, coincidentally dropped at the same time as discord

I am in the same predicament.
I have the same problem, yet the site is saying "all clear" .... help Roll20 Team?
Jake G. said: Yup, coincidentally dropped at the same time as discord And looking at Discord bug reports (or at least on their twitter), it appears to be a Canada wide issue. Also lost connection to both Roll20 and Discord at the same time. Not sure if everyone here is from Canada though.

Canadian as well.
same. Canadian too
Can confirm, also from Canada, and both Roll20 and Discord just dropped. Web Socket problem?
Update: any Canadians trapped on the wrong side of this outage, if you have access to a US-based VPN server, connect through that and you should be able to get in!
Hmm odd one of my fellow players is also from canada and isn't having this problem.
Canadian here too having this problem.
I also got discord to work momentarily by swapping to my hotspot for a moment, though that didn't fix the roll 20 issue and after a bit of working after switching back it's dropped again.
I'm having the same problem. Discord and r20 acting strange.
Southern Ontario here, Roll20 out for me as well
Yup, Toronto (Southern Ontario) having Roll20 infinite loading issue. Cleared cache, turned off extensions, changed browser, still not working. I imagine we are all having the same issue.
As an update to what Peter M said earlier. I ended up downloading and using WindScribe as a chrome extension. Was very quick and easy to set up and works great. Only offers 2gb though, but I'm hoping that this issue will be resolved before I use that much up. (Still at 1.99gb left after about ten minutes of usage) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/windscribe-free-vpn-and-a/hnmpcagpplmpfojmgmnngilcnanddlhb?hl=en

From Canada. It hangs at 0 during the loading screen countdown. The rest of my group is also from Canada and having the same problem.
Another Canadian here from Toronto, with same issues! We have a session later tonight and I was trying to log on to clean up my macros a bit.
Can confirm, running a vpn through the US clears it all up
Also Canadian, experiencing the same issues. Very peculiar that it's only affecting Canadians...

This appears to be a peering issue with particular Canadian ISPs network. While this situation is probably outside of Roll20's ability to fix, because the problem isn't on our end, we're continuing to investigate and are reaching out to the ISP of our effected users.

Is it a google cloud thing because that's apparently the issue on Discord's end

it's happening in new york upstate too. Edit: discord did not drop for me though so idk.
Canadian having same problem but Discord is fine for me. Really hope this gets cleared up soon, was going to run a session tonight, and I don't want the headache of all my Canadian players trying to use a VPN.

Quick Update, the issue appears to be with Google Cloud, which includes Firebase which powers our real time database and the underlying structure of your Roll20 games. This is the status page for this issue. Google will add updates on this issue there.
Discord's back! Haven't checked, but R20 might be working again.
Cool figured it was part of the same issue. Great to see it all up and running again.
