API BROKEN

my API won't restart. Doesn't seem to be working at all. any news on when it will be back up?

Same here, I've got this message : Your scripts are currently disabled due to an error that was detected. Please make appropriate changes to your scripts and click the "Save Script" button and we'll attempt to start running them again. More info...

For reference, the error message generated was: Error downloading scripts (probably no scripts exist for campaign.)

I'm getting that same error message Senastien g.

I can disable "areas of effect" and "Custom Status Markers" API's,

then my "flip tokens": "Easy xp" "aura/tint heathcolors" and their required other apis will run ingame.

I'm having the same problem as everyone above. None of the above scripts that I've written have changed recently, so I'm just as confused.

I had to disable StatusInfo, Welcome Package, and Marching Order -- none of which have changed overnight, but they were all working just fine yesterday.

Even after I disable some scripts and get to a working state, I get a curious warning for some of the scripts in my log:

Spinning up new sandbox...
Failed to load Tails of Equestria Helper
incompatible character encodings: UTF-8 and US-ASCII
Failed to load Check It Out
incompatible character encodings: UTF-8 and US-ASCII

I can second that Welcome Package is one of the ones which cause the problems. I verified StatusInfo and Marching Order in my game as well.

I just deleted Welcome Package & HTML Builder from my game, added it again, and it worked. It has either fixed itself or removing it completely instead of disabling it worked.

Edit: After I loaded my game the API crashed.

I too am getting the same error messages as some of the above.

I do not how ever have the welcome package script installed.

Bryn,

Please post which API scripts you have loaded. It will help compile a list of the ones that are not functioning for the devs.

Sure Justin.

I have Fumbler, Status FX, splitArgs, Custom FX, 5th Edition OGL by Roll29 Companion, Vector Math, MatrixMath, Path Math, Token collisions, HTML Builder, Custom Status Markers, TokenMod, SFX Tracks, Extendedexpressions, Wild Magic (A custom built macro with a little help from Jefe and The Aaron Himself), Ammo, Hit Dice, ChatsetAttr,  Token Lock, Customisable Roll Listener, Inspiration tracker, Roll20 Audio Master

All of the above worked perfectly last night in our usual Tuesday game and has been working for many moons before today.

Bryn, turn them all off, and then on, one by one, until you identify which ones are causing the issue.

Aye I did so, but nothing would then boot up. It was just stuck at "Previous shutdown complete, starting up, restarting sandbox due to script changes, and just repeating itself. I have tried this in 3 different browsers, and clearing the cache of said browers, without any luck.

They performed maintenance last night. I am guessing these issues are stemming from whatever they did.

+1 API is broken for me as well with the same error message.

Hi everyone,

Since this appears to be a bug, we are consolidating the conversation over in this user thread. Sorry for the trouble!

As we are "merging" threads I will be closing this one.
