It has been five years since an event called "Deus Emortuus" shook the foundation of the material plane itself. A Paladin and a Cleric who had sworn oaths to the Raven Queen, started a crusade against the church of Bahamut. Ulfberth and Rollo Haugen, brothers of the Haugen family; one of the few sworn families who flew the banner of one of the pantheon to slay Demons and undead, slaughtered the heads of the Lysander family. The Lysander's flew the banner of the Platinum Dragon, and were known for their legendary skills of fighting demonic creatures. However, their greatest sin was when they enlisted help from the Dwarven King of the High Mountain, and one only known as "The Bladed Wind" and pulled Bahamut from his realm into the material plane and against all known odds slew the Platinum Dragon and Ulfberth Haugen stole his divinity and rose to godhood taking his place among the gods..." Hey everyone!! I have been a DM for a little over a year now, and wanted to take a shot at using this to try and test my skills. What you just read was the conclusion of my first home campaign, and should you join you will be in the world five years after that event. This is a Homebrew world, and most of the normal D&D facts are different because either I thought it would be cooler a different way, or I just don't know the actual lore that well so I make it up. (sorry) I am a flexible DM and I am willing to work with you on what you want to do as a character. Ultimately, you will drive this campaign, but every now and then I may throw you on a Plot-Train if I feel things are moving too slow, or you've hit a rut on ideas of what you want to do. I accept pretty much every class idea, unearthed arcana and homebrew, but please run it by me first!! Quick Notes on game: 1. We will use theater of the mind until I can work Roll20 better. 2.Your character's will start at level 2 3. We will use Discord for voice 4. I would like to have a session 0 before we play, or at least meet with each character before the start of the game to discuss how your character fits in this world. 5. The Time is just a place holder, we will play when the party is full, I have met with everyone and I get more things set up and ready. As far as what I want in the group: 1. Don't be a dick. poking fun is one thing but you need to know when enough is enough. 2. Have fun. That is my main goal, if you are having fun, I am. 3. The DM has the final say. I am fine with you making a case on a rule or debating something, but I have the final say and I do not want this to cause issues. 4. Be Nice. I can't push this enough. The last thing I want to see, is a party of fun loving people get pushed away because someone thought they were the best thing ever. Please guys, we are all wanting to have fun don't ruin it.
